At St Mary's we meet on Sundays in our 14th Century building in the heart of the village of Stebbing. Our worship varies from 1662 prayer bookservices to modern worship celebrations. We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds into any of our church services.

Traditional Morning Worship

The traditional morning worship service is a welcoming, informal service.  With worship from 'Mission Praise' led on the organ or piano, this service is great for anyone who wants to hear their favorite hymns.

The service is on the First Sunday of each month at 11.00am

Informal Communion

The informal communion is a friendly service of worship, with a mix of old and new worship and prayer ministry after the service.  The communion service follows modern liturgy and anyone is welcome to share as we break bread together.

The service is on the Second and Fourth Sunday of each month at 11.00am

Modern Informal service

An informal, New Wine style service with modern worship led by a band.  With a short, accessible talk and prayer ministry after the service, the informal service is a welcoming place for all ages.

The service is on the Third Sunday of each month at 11.00am

1662 Holy Communion

This traditional prayer book communion service lasts about 40 minutes.

The service is on the Third Sunday of each month at 8.00am

St Mary's Church services are welcoming and accessible, Bible based and informal.  Each 11.00am service has refreshments and a friendly chat on offer after the service.
