During the major refurbishment of St Mary’s church, our services will be held at The Friend’s Meeting House, High Street, Stebbing CM6 3SE
Everyone is really welcome to join us.
We meet on Sundays at 11am. Everyone is welcome to join us. The nature of the service changes each week, click on the button below for details.
Our services are welcoming and accessible, Bible-based and informal. Each 11am service has refreshments and a friendly chat on offer after the service.

I am very pleased to be able to welcome you to St Mary’s, we are a joyful, prayerful, friendly, multi-generational church, where everyone is welcome. At St Mary’s we seek to uphold The Church of England’s Vision for the 2020’s and aim to be ‘a simpler, humbler, bolder church, that is Jesus Christ centred and Jesus Christ shaped’. St Mary’s is part of The New Wine Movement.

Children's activities
During our services at The Friend’s meeting House, there will be toys and activities available for families to use. In addition, some Sundays there will be Bible stories and simple craft activities for a part of the service.
Visit us at St. Mary's
St Mary’s church is usually open during daylight hours. You are very welcome to come in and look around, pray, enjoy a moment of tranquility and maybe leave a prayer request on the prayer tree.

St. Mary's support for the local foodbank
Stebbing church supports the local foodbank. Donations of food can be left at the back of the church. To view the current need please check out the Uttlesford website.
